Hybrid, Off-grid & Behind-the-meter
Hybrid plants that combine engines or turbines, renewables and storage behind the meter for industry, campuses and remote sites — designed so nothing is wasted and nothing needs to be exported.
What we do
- 01
Hybrid system design
Generation, PV, wind and BESS dispatched together to meet the load at the lowest lifetime cost.
- 02
Off-grid & weak-grid sites
Islanded operation, spinning reserve, black start and fuel logistics for remote operations.
- 03
Behind-the-meter industry
Self-generation for energy-intensive plants: load profiles, peak shaving, power quality and backup.
- 04
Green hydrogen on surplus energy
Surplus renewable and plant energy runs on-site electrolysers; stored hydrogen returns as seasonal backup or is supplied as a product.
- 05
Heat recovery
Engine exhaust, jacket and electrolyser heat recovered for process heat, absorption cooling or district heating.
- 06
Fuel & emissions
Fuel consumption and emissions computed for each dispatch option, including hydrogen blending in H2-ready engines.
Energy + cooling + hydrogen
On a behind-the-meter site with no grid export, surplus has to go somewhere useful. We route it in order: battery storage, heat and cooling, then an on-site green-hydrogen plant.
- 01
Electrolysers on the surplus
PEM or alkaline electrolysers follow the surplus of renewables and the on-site plant, with feed water treated on site — including desalination where the source is the sea.
- 02
Stored, then returned
Hydrogen is compressed and stored. In renewable shortfalls, fuel cells or H2-ready engines bring it back as power: seasonal backup with less fuel burned.
- 03
Or sold, and the heat reused
Hydrogen not needed on site is supplied to industry and mobility; electrolyser waste heat joins the heat-reuse loop.
